Meet Our Board MembersSPA is governed by the Board of Directors, which is established in the Articles of Incorporation of the school in 1975. SPA Board of Directors, when acting as a whole, is a policy-making body. There are currently four standing committees of the SPA Board of Directors, which serve in an advisory capacity to the board: Personnel, Finance, Long Range Planning and Curriculum.

Sala is a proud SPA alumnus, graduating 8th grade in 1994. She is a proud Mother of two SPA students, a 4th & 11th grader. She has been a board member since 2013 and is currently serving her 3rd year as Board Chairman. With an educational background in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources Management, she is currently employed at the American Samoa Power Authority as the Acting Human Resource Manager. salamasina.satele@gmail.com Lina Suisala

Lina is a 3rd grade parent and is currently serving her 3rd year as a Board Member. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Communications and graduate degree in Organizational Management. Teresita is a Grandmother of two SPA students. She is the newest member of the Board and will be focusing on Curriculum Development. She is currently working on the dissertation phase of her doctoral studies in educational leadership with a specialization in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Maria is a Mother of two, a SPA graduate and a 8th grade student. She is a full time clinic pediatrician at the LBJ Tropical Center. John Raynar, host of 93KHJ's Samoan Sunrise radio show is a recent member of the board.He is also the former Rotary Club president and current vice-chairman of the Republican Party of American Samoa. His work as a broadcaster enables him to help local businesses and raise political awareness. |
